CHAT GPT vs. TEXT XPTO

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an inescapable reality, and very necessary to help with the new challenges that modern life presents to us.

In our motorcycling world, in the most current models, AI is a reality present in the various driving support systems available to us and which can sometimes make a difference, given its reaction speed much greater than that of the Human Being.

However, there are sectors of society in which, as backwards as it may seem, I do not agree with the use of this support tool.

Musical composition, for example, is one of the areas in which its use bothers me, due to all the consideration and admiration I have for the creative capacity of composers.

Another area that is closer to me and in which, in some contexts, I have difficulty accepting its use, is writing.

Maybe that’s why it takes me so long between texts on this BLOG.

But in Chat GPT vs. Text XPTO, I always choose the second.

Perhaps it reflects the habits acquired at school.

I remember that in elementary or high school, when teachers told me to write an essay on a given topic, remembering it now with due distance, I found myself dreaming and trying to transcribe my dream into my schoolbook.

As you have certainly noticed, I always like to write in the first person, as I share personal opinions or lived experiences, not those lived by someone else and replicated by me.

For this reason, for the sake of intellectual honesty, I would never give a topic or subject references to AI to write a text for me that I would then share here as mine.

Furthermore, the challenge and pleasure I have in trying to find the words or expressions that can best portray what I want to share with you would be completely nullified.

This is a creative process that challenges and stimulates me as I continue to believe that ideas and “things in life”, if shared with others, have more value. Some can be confirmed and valued and others denied or opposed, in both cases being vehicles for learning, both for those who write and for those who read.

Perhaps because of all this, I have a “Chat” with you on this BLOG of mine, with Great Pleasure in the Text, even though sometimes it may not be XPTO.

Enjoy your ride
